How to Join Green America’s Green Business Network™
To become a member of Green America’s Green Business Network™, businesses go through a screening and appproval processs by the Green America's screening team.

The screening team, which is appointed by and reports to Green America's board of directors, reviews each applying company to determine the following:

1. Its familiarity with and commitment to social and environmental responsibility
2. Significant action in terms of this commitment. (Our research team also seeks independent data to verify company information.)

Companies must demonstrate the following:

• Focus on using business as a tool for positive social change
• Values-driven as well as profit-driven
• Socially and environmentally responsible in the way they source, manufacture and market their products and run their offices and factories
• Committed to and employ extraordinary and innovative practices that benefit workers, communities, customers and the environment.

Green America's Business Seal of Approval
Businesses that are approved can display the Green America Seal of Approval. This seal  assures consumers that businesses bearing this seal operate in ways that support workers, communities and protect the environment.

Look for the Green America Business Seal of Approval when you shop with businesses listed in the National Green Pages™. If your favorite green business doesn't carry the Green America seal, ask them to become part of Green America's Green Business Network™.
