Once again, 2008 Chicago Green Team volunteers proved themselves a hard-working and dedicated group who labored for hours to ensure proper preparation of recyclables and compost The Green Festival Staff wishes to extend its most sincere thank you to the 600 Green Team volunteers for the for their tremendous effort and excitement. Thanks also to Kevin Kruis of Allied Waste for his extraordinary support of Resource Recovery at events in Chicago, to Jorge Mazzarri and his staff at Navy Pier for their cooperation and collaboration, and to Matt Robbins and the entire Aramark staff for their cheerful embrace of recycling and composting during Green Festival.
We are looking forward to seeing many of the same faces at the 2009 Chicago Green Festival.
