SCA's Mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of our environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land. Through SCA's programs, volunteers complete hands-on projects to protect, maintain and restore our nation's incomparable public lands while they develop career skills as future environmental stewards, community leaders, and aware public citizens. In DC, SCA reaches out to local students teaching environmental education and providing outdoor service and leadership opportunities with the Conservation Leadership Corps and Conservation Crews.
