CoHousing Partners, LLC is a full service real estate development firm specializing in cohousing in California. We partner with future residents to create neighborhoods that are socially vibrant and environmentally sustainable. We have two offices located in Nevada City, California and Davis, California
Our development team is the most experienced group of cohousing professionals in North America, having created dozens of successful communities. CoHousing Partners was born out of a decade long collaboration between Wonderland Hill Development Company and McCamant & Durrett Architects, which has produced a string of diverse, award-winning projects.
Our firm’s principals have created and refined systems that allow us to partner with future residents to produce these award-winning neighborhoods.
Land development is fraught with obstacles and risk. Our experience helps to mitigate that risk. Our approach is to impart the knowledge and skills to enable our groups to focus on the important issues, to make good decisions, and ultimately move into the neighborhood of their dreams.
Our communities are strong because we involve the members in every facet of the process: visioning, community organizing, planning, investment and budget. Members of our completed communities tell us it’s worth being involved. In fact, they tell us that it is one of the most valuable things they have ever done.
