Desert Survivors is an affiliation of desert lovers committed to experiencing, sharing and protecting desert wilderness wherever we find it. We recognize the places we love to explore will not remain wild unless we give others the opportunity to experience them as we do and unless we remain vigilant and active in our efforts to monitor and preserve them.

Our new Fall Trip Schedule is now ready. Click here for Fall 2008 Trips page.

We have begun a new page on Desert Issues. This will be updated periodically, with past Issues Reports archived for reference. This new feature is designed to keep the public informed about desert protection issues, a vital need as our deserts continue to be attacked by those who place no value upon them or their ecosystems. We hope this new feature will raise awareness of and interest in desert issues so we can create more activists to help us fight for protection. Click here for the new Desert Issues page.
