New Millenium Orchestra
Closing Concert

ch_closing.jpg
Dominic Johnson, conductor with special guests Rena Jones and the Chicago Arts Community, Mark Lero, director
The New Millennium Orchestra presents a symphonic tribute to environmentalism. Wedded to projections and featuring new technology, the program offers the eternal beauty of classical performance, even as it takes music into an electric future— the concert as metaphor.

Famed cellist Rena Jones will be featured in a collaborative performance. Among her unlikely credits are compositions specifically written for the video game series Guitar Hero.

The Chicago Arts Community will again conclude the festival with a musical and visual caress of our beautiful planet.
