Abstract: Journey Toward Womanhood
For the past 13 years Sisterhood Agenda has used a social entrepreneurship model to create, implement, and evaluate strategies designed to provide young women and girls of African descent with sisterhood, self-knowledge, self-development, and self-esteem.
Through gender-specific, culturally-relevant programs such as A Journey
Toward Womanhood for teenagers and it’s groundbreaking magazine,
Sisterhood Agenda seeks to support, uplift and empower women and girls
of African descent.
