Explore simple recycling methods such as hand-me-down clothing and quilting to complex sustainable gardening and composting techniques that were used to survive and contribute to the larger community.

Renewable Energy Vehicle Ages 12+

This van runs on waste vegetable oil. It also sports solar panels on the roof and a solar-powered amplifier with iPod docking station and microphone. Explore various types of fuels, pour WVO into the gas tank, and learn about photons and electrons. Check out a slide show and video segments on the solar powered LCD screen inside the van!
