As a Northern California Cohousing regional organizer, Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC) boardmember and Communities magazine cohousing co-columnist, Certified Green Building Professional, Certified Senior Cohousing Facilitator, and Certified Green Business, Raines helps people create and find community, both intergenerational and for aging in place. Panel Visioning Our Communities: An Interactive Forum Community can be the secret ingredient in sustainability. Shared resources and cooperative neighbors help us reduce our global environmental impact while magnifying our political impact. This interactive session will give you the opportunity to participate in a small-group visioning exercise to provide the experience of community decision-making. You’ll learn about your own priorities and how you can band together to build new, more sustainable neighborhoods.
