Rudolf Steiner College
Rudolf Steiner College is one of America's leading Waldorf teacher education colleges. Located on a beautiful thirteen acre campus in Fair Oaks, California, just outside of Sacramento, the College offers a wide range of full and part-time educational opportunities including Waldorf Teacher Training, Early Childhood Training, Consciousness Studies, Eurythmy Training, evening classes, workshops and cultural events. The campus includes a bookstore, Biodynamic farm CSA, gardens, performance hall and dormitories. In addition to our main campus in Fair Oaks, we offer a teacher education program in San Francisco and Community Learning Centers offering foundation studies in Waldorf Education in: Los Altos, Nevada City, Denver CO, Phoenix AZ, and Montreal. Students completing Waldorf teacher education programs receive a diploma in Waldorf education. Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) founded the worldview known as Anthroposophy (literally, wisdom of the human being), in which the heightened capacities of thinking, feeling, and willing are seen as key to unlocking enormous human potential. His innovative ideas and discoveries have inspired a wide spectrum of practical activities worldwidein the arts, banking, architecture, medicine, agriculture, and care of the handicapped, as well as education.
