Michael Holloway

Michael Holloway is a Horticulturist at the Denver Botanic Gardens where he oversees the Oak Grove, the Victorian Secret Garden, El Pomar and the Water Garden Gazebo. Born in the Appalachian region of Kentucky, he spent many hours working on the family farm. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Music and Business. He put himself through school by growing tobacco and operating an interior plant design business called Green Earth. After traveling the world as a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines for 14 years, he worked as a city park manager in San Francisco. He has been with Denver Botanic Gardens for 8 years where he has lectured and taught numerous classes.
