The Road to Rio+20: The Future We Want

rioplus20panelIt’s officially the Road to Rio+20!

In anticipation of the upcoming United Nations Earth Summit, Rio+20, Green Festival teamed up with Fund Balance and HuffPost GREEN to launch live global coverage of the first NYC Green Festival.

In celebration of the lead up to this monumental event, we will be re-releasing memorable keynote presentations from NYC Green Festival.

Today, we are featuring a stake holder’s panel on the topic of Rio +20, featuring: Carl Safina of the Blue Ocean Institute; Dan Lashoff, Senior Policy Advisor at the NRDC; Daniel Sheppard of the UN Develoment Agency; Paul Miller, aka DJ SPOOKY; and, James Hanusa, Organizer of the Rio+20 Summit.

See You in DC, SF and LA This Fall!

gfvolunteerswebThanks to everyone who participated in Green Festival this spring, helping us to kick off 2012 with a bang!

We had a blast celebrating Earth Day in NYC April 21-22, and returning to Chicago's iconic Navy Pier May 5-6.

We're gearing up for a busy summer as we launch three more Green Festivals this fall!

We're returning to Washington, DC September 29-30 at the DC Convention Center. In November, Green Festival is headed west, returning to the San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center, November 10-11 and the Los Angeles Convention Center, November 17-18. Stay tuned throughout the summer for exciting program updates and event news!

Thank You Chicago!
