Green Cleaning - Back to Basics

When Robin Kay Levine’s sister was diagnosed with non-genetic cancer at only 35, Robin began researching the effects of harmful chemicals in everyday products. Armed with what she learned, Robin helped her sister to clean out everyday products from her home and replace them with natural, eco-friendly green alternatives. For example, they discovered that vinegar, a food-grade product, reduces 96% of all bacteria. As her sister recovered, Robin realized she could help countless women and families take safer care of their homes. From there, Eco-Me, her line of family and pet safe cleaning products, was born.

Did you know over 3 million Ford vehicles on the road today have soy foam seats? How about that 75% of Ford headrests contain soy foam? Ford’s success with soy-based foam in their vehicles has reduced petroleum usage by 3 million pounds annually and CO2 by 15 million pounds. In 1937, Ford Motor Company was producing 300,000 gallons of soy oil a year for use in car enamels, and in 1939, Ford was harvesting about 100,000 bushels of its own soybeans - In fact, the “Soybean Car” was unveiled by Henry Ford on August 13, 1941.
