The National Aquarium is a nonprofit aquatic education and conservation organization with two locations and one mission: to inspire conservation of the world’s aquatic treasures. Transforming experiences reach well beyond the Aquariums’ walls. Currently operating as a “museum without walls” through participation in community events and creative partnerships with other arts and cultural organizations, the National Children’s Museum will open an indoor space in winter 2012 and an expansive outdoor experience in summer 2013 at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The Museum is poised to become Greater Washington’s premier family attraction and is the only national museum dedicated entirely to children and their families and caregivers
