Libre showcases two new designs at 10th Annual San Francisco Green Festival

There are now two new ways to enjoy loose leaf tea on-the-go. Libre is set to showcase its large and mug-style versions of its popular tea glass at the 10th Annual Green Festival from November 12 to 13, 2011 at the San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center, located at booth number 929.

Since their invention in 2008 Libre tea glasses have been enjoyed by tea lovers all across the world – from Europe, the United States, to Brazil and Canada. It’s sleek and portable design makes it easy to enjoy the taste and health benefits of loose leaf tea.

“The Green Festival is definitely the perfect event for our Libre tea glass styles,” explained Wendy Weir, Founder of Libre. “Often times, it is difficult to enjoy loose leaf tea on-the-go and dozens of tea bags and paper cups end up in the trash. Our glasses are reusable and environmentally friendly, while keeping tea leaves away from the mouth. Our new styles were created to meet demand. Customers have been telling us they wanted a bigger glass to hold even more tea, so we delivered. It holds about 5 ounces more than the original Libre. Our mug version has a handle for extra grip. Both are great green gift options for the holiday season.”

Libre tea glasses are made of glass ‘n poly, with a health-conscious BPA-free glass interior so your tea tastes fresh and clean in every cup. The exterior is a durable polycarbonate. The double-wall construction keeps tea hot or cold and comfortable to hold. The tea glasses come with a removable, easy to clean, stainless steel tea filter, which allows tea leaves to remain in the glass. The simple design also allows one to enjoy teas with limited steeping times or teas that remain in the tea glass.

“Tea is a way of living; a state of mind for me,” added Weir. “With Libre, people can enjoy a tea moment anywhere, anytime and take full advantage of loose leaf tea’s environmental benefits, infinite blends, and fresh taste. Nothing compares to loose leaf.”
