Opening Ceremony: The East Bay Church of Religious Science International Choir

 The East Bay Church of Religious Science International Choir is committed to healing the planet through soulful, heartfelt metaphysical music. Under the direction of Tyrone Cosey, Minister of Music, the East Bay Choir recently completed their first live album recorded before a sold-out crowd at the Black Expo in Oakland, California.
It is scheduled for release in November. The 60-member chorale was
formed in 1981, and has performed in the United States and Africa with
a unique, engaging style of musical interpretation and delivery that
has earned it fans and friends at every stop. Harmony, rhythm, spirit

Closing Ceremony: Social Prophet Choir
Gift Center, Sunday, November 11th, 6:00PM
 Launched at PollenNation’s Bee-In event at Grace Cathedral in May 2007, the Social Prophet Choir activates the human hive and is a bio-mimetic response to nature’s call for harmony. This evolutionary vocal convergence of Bay Area activists and eco all-stars was founded by Amira Diamond to bring joy into the movement for change in the world. The Choir’s name was inspired by Lynne Twist’s observation that the nonprofit sector is actually the “social” profit sector, a community of social prophets. The group’s uplifting, interactive performances feature music by local musician Troy Lush.
