Ras K'dee

Ras K'dee is a cofounder of Seventh Native American Generation (SNAG) Magazine. Ras is a California Pomo/Kenyan rapper and is an occasional host of KPFA FM's Bay Native Circle. He fronts the six member multiculti band One Struggle and in his music addresses native resistance, environmental pollution, and the corrosive affect of drug culture on disadvantaged communities. His third solo album, Street Prison, was chosen by East Bay Express readers as "Best Local Album of the Year."

David Kadavy

David Kadavy's upbringing was anything but green. He grew up in a cul-de-sac in the suburbs of Omaha, Nebraska; where golf was one of his main pasttimes, dangerous treks across busy intersections to grab candy at gas stations were his childhood's greatest acts of independence, and he never even rode a public bus until he was in college. Alex Kajumulo

Kajumulo Alex Kajumulo has produced five albums under the BabuKaju Record Label: Never Before, Justice for Mankind, Searching for Love, I'm Kool Like That, and Bushman Vision. Alex’s first album, Never Before, was released in 2007 and has played on radio stations around the world rising to the top ten on the charts in many African countries and on the World Music Charts in Canada. Please complete the application form to be considered. If your presentation is selected, we will contact you 3-5 months before the Festival to which you are applying. Due to the high volume of speaker applications, we are unable to respond to each one.

Be a musical act at Green Festival!

Each Green FestivalTM invites up to 15 speakers to perform on our music stage. We will begin taking applications for our fall events in July.
