Allison Booth


Alison Booth has been with Equal Exchange since 2001. She currently lives in Seattle and manages the Equal Exchange Espresso Bar at Ballard Market. At EE she has also served in various staff and elected positions, including: Interfaith Program Manager, Worker-Owner Coordinator and co-chair of the Board of Directors. She has traveled with Equal Exchange customers and staff to visit coffee producers in El Salvador, Nicaragua and Guatemala. Prior to working at EE, Alison worked as a Youth Organizer with American Friends Service Committee-New Hampshire and the Amnesty International USA Program to Abolish the Death Penalty. Alison has given dozens of workshops and trainings on topics ranging from worker-ownership to Fair Trade, faith-based organizing to espresso. Green is her favorite color.
