As president of CDMs Public Services Group, Mr. Brown is responsible for the delivery of consulting, engineering, construction, and operations services to the firms municipal, regional, and state government clients. He has nearly 30 years experience in project development, project finance, and the planning and management of public utilities and environmental facilities.
With improving largescale infrastructure and increasing public health, safety, and environmental regulation, engineers often create urban infrastructure that goes largely unnoticed by the public. Paul will discuss the innovative efforts of individuals who have been improving quality of life, promoting urban sustainability, and creating cities of the future. This will include sharing stories from the PBS series, Edens Lost ; Found, and citing successful examples of sustainable design in urban areas across the country.
