Karl Burkart Directs Digital Media for TckTckTck, a global alliance of 280 NGO’s working on climate and energy reform. Karl’s company, K2B Digital, advises businesses and nonprofits on social media and web strategy with a specific focus on environmental causes that leverage the full-spectrum of social channels - blog, video, tweet, & mobile (google “environmentalism 2.0” and check out his lecture). Karl is a well-known blogger on Green & Social Tech and is the creator and producer of the Planet 100, the Discovery Network’s first daily online show. Karl has a popular blog on the Mother Nature Network, where he discusses the latest in environmental media and technology. He contributes to several other websites including Forbes, CNN, TrendHunter, Alternet and the Huffington Post, and he recently started a column about art and the environment on SHFT.com. Among other projects, Karl created a new environmental rewards program called WorldShares for MNN.com.
