Kate Butchart



Kate Butchart, Business Development Manager for SustainLane, is passionate about using the power of business to create a more sustainable global society. Her international experiences have carried her to the Ethics Institute of South Africa, located in Pretoria, where she developed a Code of Ethics for whistleblowing hotline service providers, and to Madrid, Spain, where she studied economics at La Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

From 2005 2006, Kate was the leader of the Monterey Institute of International Studies chapter of Net Impact, an organization of 10,000 MBAs and professionals who are dedicated to using business skills to create a positive economic, social, and environmental impact. Her work has been published in the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics Journal. Kate holds a BA in International Affairs from The Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University in Washington, DC, as well as an MBA with a specialization in corporate social responsibility from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA.
