Green Festival Speakers
Nathan is responsible for all programmatic support in B Lab’s three core areas of activities: 1) certifying B Corporations using the B Impact Rating System, 2) advancing B Lab’s public policy work on Benefit Corporation Legislation, and 3) assisting in the development and implementation of the Global Impact Investing Ratings System (GIIRS). Nathan earned his BA in Ethnomusicology from Indiana University and MS in Nonprofit Management from Milano the New School of Management and Urban Policy. Throughout his tenure at Milano, Nathan held internships with the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, the Institute of International Education, and a field placement in the Balkans with the Institute for Sustainable Communities. Prior to graduate school, he served in Ukraine as a Peace Corps volunteer. B Lab is a nonprofit dedicated to harnessing the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.
