Victoria Diane Kirby is a dynamic young lady who is taking the world by storm. In the past year, she has been featured on CNN, MSNBC's Today Show, Fox, and a number of other national and international media outlets. After being honored by receiving an invitation by First Lady Michelle Obama to the White House and President Obama's first address to Congress, she was featured on hundreds of websites, blogs, and print news outlets such as The Washington Post. She recently served as the first openly gay member of the board of trustees of her alma mater, Howard University, where she graduated with a bachelor of arts in communication ; culture and a minor in political science. Her other professional experiences include serving as a program assistant for the nonprofits, The Scholarship Academy, The Minority Scholarship Quest Program, and the Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Innovation (ELI) Institute. She also worked as a consultant for The McGrawHill Companies for three years, and was a National Visionary Leadership Fellow.Since her arrival at Howard University, she has been dedicated to the empowerment and uplifting of the student body, and served in leadership positions in many organizations.Ms. Kirby has sought to enhance the University and its global brand by serving as a member of the steering committee for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education ReAffirmation of Accreditation SelfStudy and as an executive board member of the Howard University Alumni Association.Victoria Diane Kirby is a dynamic young lady who is taking the world by storm.
