Alexander Meas

Meas is a senior at Evergreen High School. Meas has attended three semesters with Waskowitz Environmental Leadership Semester (WELS) where he enjoyed teaching at Camp Waskowitz. The camp allows sixth graders a week in the outdoors instead of being in the city. They learn animal adaptation, why we recycle, not to waste water, not to litter, and other environmental lessons. At the Environmental Science Center in Normandy Park, Meas taught students from K12 about salmon life cycles and anatomy. While at Youth Media Institute, Meas worked on a public service announcement about green living focusing on a town with environmentally friendly houses.
