Scott Morrissey

Scott Morrissey is the Deputy Director of Greenprint Denver, Mayor John Hickenlooper's comprehensive environmental sustainability initiative. In this role, he oversees a variety of programs, including Denvers Solar America Cities grant award from the U.S. Department of Energy.

He has worked on governmental environmental policy throughout his career, including solid waste with the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, water and wastewater infrastructure with the Appalachian Regional Commission, and 8hour ozone rules with the federal EPA. Prior to joining the Mayors Office, he was a Financial Management Analyst in Denvers Budget Office.

Scott attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a BA and MPA with concentrations in Environmental Management.
