Jessica Tully is is the lead field organizer for the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. Her current campaign supports Food Revolution groups nationwide to work with their local schools to permanently eliminate sugary, flavored milk from all school meals this academic year. She is an award-winning artist and organizer working primarily in video and participatory civic practices. Previously, she served as national field director and as a consultant for: Rock the Vote, Take Our Daughters To Work Day, Youth Speaks, SEIU-ULTCW, the Sierra Club, Free Range Studios, Music for America, Air Traffic Control, Okayplayer, Clinton/Gore, and Absinthe Films, among others. Her work functions in both fine art and activist terrains. For the Service Employee International Union (SEIU - ULTCW) she collaborated with groups of worker-leaders to create large-scale paper mosaics of worker imagery and other formations comprised of 5,000 small handwritten notes on colored paper at the California State Capital (2009, 2010) and for SEIU's Leadership Conference at in Los Angeles. Her art practice consists of site-specific choreographies and performance videos that take place underwater, on football fields, at State Capitols, at major museums, cultural institutions, the Bay Bridge, and cultural/political hot spots. She is the co-founder and host of the L.A. Cafe.
